Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Lewisham West and Penge, Chris Phillips, is leading campaigns on key local issues

We aim to restore high streets as centres of the community, where people feel safe to shop, set up business or seek recreation in attractive and accessible settings. In particular, we are forming a business policy group, with the aim of developing policies to assist businesses, who together are major employers in the constituency.

We aim to engage with young people and families to understand and nurture the full youth offer provided by Local Authorities, schools, colleges, voluntary organisations and a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities. We believe that young people should be encouraged to pursue activities they enjoy and given the opportunity to derive maximum benefit, and make youth crime a thing of the past.
