The West Lewisham and Penge Conservative Association is open to everyone who supports the Conservative Party and wishes to further this cause in our local community. We seek to secure the election of conservative candidates at General, Local and European elections.

The Association is staffed entirely by volunteers, who freely give their time and energy to support our local Conservative candidates get elected. The Association is run by an executive committee that comprises an elected group of officers, our local councillors and representatives of each of the wards within the constituency. The executive is responsible for selecting the constituencies parliamentary candidate, and Chris Phillips was selected in November 2008 to fight the forthcoming general elections.

We receive no funding and the money that we spend on our campaigning activities is raised by local activists through their membership of the Association and through the fund raising activities that are held during the year.

Beneath the executive committee are local ward committees, which are run by the members that live in those wards. These wards are responsible for selecting their candidates for Local Council elections and compaigning to get these candidates elected.
