
Mike is a local family man, with a wife and two daughters. He was educated at a Lewisham comprehensive school, and later attended the South East London Technical College (now known as Lewisham College).
Mike has long standing connections to the local area and his grandfather was involved in the building of the Bellingham and Downham estates.
Mike is chair of the governing body of the Valley primary school, which is an OFSTED “outstanding school”. He has previously stood for election in the Bellingham ward. He is a trustee and Director of a local charity running an Abbeyfield sheltered home. Mike has many years of experience in local government, having worked in senior positions in management services at Bromley council.
Mike’s key interest is to see real value for money, making your Council Tax lower, but your council services better…It can be done, he has seen it done , and he knows how to get it done.
