Eddie writes: "I am putting myself forward to stand as a Conservative Councillor for the Sydenham ward because I believe that with my knowledge, experience and leadership abilities, I can make a difference to the lives of the people of Sydenham and be part of a strong Conservative team in Lewisham.
"I have recent experience of regeneration of the South Acton Estate, where I succeeded in persuading the local authority to accept 23 key recommendations, including the funding of a new community centre and the refurbishment of the local school."
