Penge & Cator: Akudo Ike

Akudo Ike (on the left in our picture) is the Conservative prospective council candidate for Penge and Cator ward. She writes:

I joined the conservative party because I believe that over the years Labour has lost the privilege to govern; whilst the Conservative party has transformed to become an inclusive party which has the interest of the nation at heart.

I live in neighbouring Crystal Palace ward and currently work in external communications.

My work in the community includes working with Age Concern as part of the Millennium Volunteer scheme.

I strongly believe that leadership is a privilege, not a right; and if I am nominated, I will serve the people of Penge and Cator to the best of my ability.
